Crocs has dropped the price on two colorways of its Classic Boat Shoe from $65 to $50, a rare discount on one of the brand’s most talked-about recent releases. The timing lands just ahead of summer, making it the right moment to pick up a hybrid that’s been generating attention since it first hit shelves.

A hyped-up hybrid

Both the lace-up collar and ventilation ports are hallmarks of the Classic Boat Shoe’s hybrid design.

When Crocs first launched the Classic Boat Shoe, it turned heads for an obvious reason: it grafts a traditional boat shoe upper — complete with leather lacing and stitched detailing — onto the brand’s signature Croslite foam clog base. T

The result is a shoe that pulls from two distinct footwear categories without fully belonging to either. It’s a deliberate provocation, and it worked.

The shoe carries the Classic Clog’s molded footbed and ventilation ports, while the upper adds structure and a more dressed silhouette. It walks the line between outdoor casual and coastal-prep in a way that’s hard to ignore — and harder to categorize.

Crocs has since expanded the colorway roster considerably, and the 2026 lineup introduced the current slate of options, including the two shades now on sale.

The brand has also pushed the silhouette into unexpected territory, releasing a duck camo version that signals it has no intention of playing it safe with the design.

Two colorways are currently on sale: Bone/Moth and Black. Both are available directly through Crocs’s website at $50, down from the standard $65.

The Bone/Moth option leans into the silhouette’s nautical heritage with warm neutral tones, while the Black colorway keeps things versatile and easy to pair. Either way, $50 for a shoe this polarizing — and this well-constructed — is a solid entry point for giving this hybrid release a shot in your wardrobe.
