The Three Stripes has gotten on the board plenty with shoes like the Superstar Lux or the Made in Italy series. Ever pugilistic against their sportswear rival, Nike fired back earlier this year as images of a Made in Italy Air Force 1 came to light, streamlining the panels on Bruce Kilgore’s design and adding heightened quality to the everyday staple. We’re still awaiting firm release info on that pair, raising the possibility that the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Croc” can serve as a more cost-effective alternative. Leaning on a more standard composition, faux croc runs rampant across a jet black base, before silvery trim takes over the tongue and heel tabs as well as the Swoosh.
The Nike Air Force 1 “Black Croc” should be coming to Nike.com and the usual channels as part of the Summer/Fall slate. A $125 retail price is confirmed.
