Bordelle is diving into new territory with the debut of "Pearl," the first chapter of its upcoming collection, "A Modern Fantasea." Combining intricate craftsmanship with maritime-inspired storytelling, the range marks one of the London lingerie label's most ambitious fabric and hardware developments to date.
At the heart of the collection is bespoke Swiss embroidery created exclusively for the season. Inspired by Art Deco illustrations, the design features abstract nude mermaids woven through rippling, water-like lines that reference the movement of the sea. Available in four colourways, black, teal, dusty blue and cream, the embroidery incorporates metallic lurex detailing, while the cream iteration introduces glow-in-the-dark thread for an unexpected finish. This is lingerie like you've never seen it before.
Alongside the new textile innovation, Bordelle unveils a bespoke 24k gold-plated hardware component centred around a glass pearl. Positioned at every strap intersection, the detail introduces a fresh signature to the brand's instantly recognisable strappy silhouettes, joining the hardware language that has defined Bordelle since its launch in 2009.
Developed following research at the Maritime Museum, Pearl translates nautical motifs, including nets, chains, pearls and water reflections into adjustable lingerie silhouettes designed for longevity and a personalised fit. Handmade at the atelier, the collection showcases the craftsmanship that has become synonymous with the luxury label.
The collection is now available at the brand's website.
In other news, Khy dropped a new collection starring Kylie Jenner.
