Last year, ERL fully embraced fashion's ongoing flip-flop obsession, dropping sky-high platform silhouettes that felt equal parts playful, chaotic and not commuter-friendly. Now, the California label is stepping back into the sandal space with a new take on the toe-first footwear.
Designed by founder Eli Russell Linnetz, the latest flip-flops lean into ERL's signature blend of surf culture and exaggerated proportions. The silhouette features a thick fabric thong strap and a moderate sole, landing somewhere between laid-back California-cool and unapologetic dad-core.
Of course, an ERL launch wouldn't be complete without an internet-breaking campaign. Accompanying the release is a series of images that transport viewers into a soapy, foam-filled fantasy. Models splash and pose in a playful setting, reinforcing the carefree spirit synonymous with the brand's visual language. And we can confirm, the shoes are definitely waterproof.
Check out the hot campaign above and shop the latest styles via ERL's website now.
In other news, Damson Madder's latest campaign is an ode to 2000s indie cinema.
