Paura and Vans' New Collab Is All About Piercings and Punk

If your footwear rotation is craving a rebellious upgrade, your wish is Paura's command. The Italian label has teamed up with Vans to reimagine the brand favorite Authentic low-top silhouette, injecting it with an unapologetic, punk-inspired attitude.

Stepping away from the shoe's traditional canvas styles, the Paura x Vans Authentic collection delivers raw, hand-finished authenticity. Arriving in two gorgeous colorways — a classic black and white, and a softer green and ivory version — the entire upper is coated in a stunning, airbrushed checkerboard diamond pattern. To complement the intentionally distressed scuffs and worn-in details, the shoes feature the collection's true highlight: custom, Italian-made metal hardware.

Looping bars and punk-style bull rings pierce directly through the laces and hangtags, creating a jewelry-inspired aesthetic that mimics body piercings. Finished with a dual-branded Paura stamp on the cream insoles, these sneakers are on the top of our summer wishlist.

The Paura x Vans Authentic collection will be available to purchase starting June 6 on the Vans and Paura websites, as well as select retailers.
