Dior Men
Dior Men is the menswear division of the house of Christian Dior, originally launched in 1970 under the name 'Christian Dior Monsieur' as a small ready-to-wear menswear line under licence. The men's line went through several iterations and creative-director transitions: Hedi Slimane revolutionised it as 'Dior Homme' from 2000-2007, defining the rock-and-roll skinny silhouette that became one of the defining men's vocabularies of the 2000s. Kris Van Assche held creative direction 2007-2018, evolving the line into a sportswear-meets-tailoring proposition. Kim Jones became creative director in 2018, rebranded the line as 'Dior Men,' and led it until 2025.
The Kim Jones-era Dior Men vocabulary settled around several specific things: oblique-patterned canvas leather goods and saddle bags, collaboration capsules with contemporary artists (KAWS S/S 2019, Daniel Arsham F/W 2020, Peter Doig S/S 2021, Travis Scott F/W 2022, ERL S/S 2023), elevated tailoring at the intersection of streetwear proportions and traditional Dior couture craft, and a continuous re-engagement with the house's archive — the Mr. Dior toile reproduction work, the Christian Dior monogram-canvas pieces. Jones departed in early 2025 and Jonathan Anderson was named creative director.
Dior Men is part of LVMH-owned Christian Dior SE, the house headquartered at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. The men's line operates dedicated Dior Men flagship stores within most major Dior locations globally — Paris (Avenue Montaigne, Faubourg Saint-Honoré), Tokyo (Ginza, Omotesando), Seoul (Cheongdam-dong), London (Sloane Street, New Bond Street), New York (Fifth Avenue, the Dior Men SoHo store), Los Angeles (Rodeo Drive), and approximately 100 other dedicated Dior Men or shop-in-shop locations.
