Kijun was founded in 2018 in Seoul by Korean designer Kijun Park as a contemporary luxury menswear-and-womenswear brand specifically focused on what Park described as 'a deliberately-Korean archival-tailoring vocabulary anchored to traditional Korean-craft and contemporary architectural-tailoring proportions.' The brand has been one of the defining post-2018 Korean-anchored contemporary-luxury brands. The Kijun vocabulary settled around several recurring elements: deconstructed cotton-and-wool tailored separates with deliberately-Korean-archival proportional construction, hand-printed silk and cotton shirts with deliberately-Korean-cultural-reference graphic-motif references, the brand's iconic Kijun outerwear programme (deliberately-deconstructed Korean-craft-aesthetic outerwear), deliberately-architectural cotton-and-linen ready-to-wear, and a colour palette anchored to washed-black, oxblood, ecru, washed-charcoal, plus the brand's recurring use of natural-indigo, traditional-Korean-aesthetic and the iconic Korean-archival-luxury aesthetic colour combinations. The brand has presented at Seoul Fashion Week each season since 2019. The brand is independent and held by Park. Kijun operates flagship retail in Seoul (Hannam-dong — the brand's home flagship) plus international wholesale through SSENSE, MATCHES, Lane Crawford, the Boontheshop network in Seoul, and a curated set of contemporary-luxury-menswear specialty retailers globally. The brand has been one of the more quietly disciplined post-2018 Korean-anchored 'Korean-archival-luxury' brands.

Shop Secondhand

Archive and rare Kijun pieces mostly circulate on the resale market. Japanese sites don't ship to China — buy via a proxy like Buyee; most Western sites ship internationally or are reachable with a US/EU forwarder.
