Loewe Paula's Ibiza

Loewe Paula's Ibiza is the long-running annual capsule collection of Loewe, the Spanish luxury house founded in 1846 in Madrid, in collaboration with Paula's Ibiza — the iconic Ibiza-island fashion boutique founded in 1972 by Armin Heinemann that has been a defining cultural fixture of the Ibiza-summer-resort luxury-bohemian aesthetic for over 50 years. The collaboration capsule was launched in 2017 by Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and has been continued each summer through 2024. The Loewe Paula's Ibiza vocabulary settled around several recurring elements: hand-printed silk and cotton dresses and shirts with deliberately-1970s-Ibiza-bohemian-aesthetic motif references, hand-finished leather sandals and handbags with deliberately-bohemian-craft construction, deliberately-resort-aesthetic ready-to-wear including kaftans, kimono-aesthetic robes, and bohemian-resort-style swimwear, and a colour palette anchored to deliberately-saturated 1970s-Ibiza-bohemian-aesthetic colour combinations (turquoise, fuchsia, marigold, orange, deep coral) plus washed-cream, ecru, and oxblood. The capsule has anchored Loewe's broader contemporary-luxury-resort-fashion conversation since 2017. The capsule is part of Loewe, the LVMH-owned Spanish luxury house. Loewe Paula's Ibiza distributes through every Loewe flagship store globally — particularly the Loewe Madrid flagship, Loewe Casa de Loewe in Madrid (the brand's heritage flagship), the iconic Paula's Ibiza boutique itself (still operating in Ibiza town as the original 1972 founding location), Loewe Paris (Avenue Montaigne), Loewe Tokyo (Aoyama, Ginza), plus extensive international Loewe flagship distribution. The Paula's Ibiza capsule has been one of the defining post-2017 Loewe-anchored 'collaboration-and-summer-resort-luxury' programmes.
