Balenciaga has officially introduced its new TechWear line under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli, debuting as part of the Fall 2026 collection titled "Body & Being." Melding sport, technology and the House's legacy of savoir-faire, the line is engineered as a direct response to today's wellness-focused lifestyles and health-conscious rituals. The collection is visually codified by the Balenciaga Bodies graphic identity — a distinctive looping gesture that symbolizes infinite movement and boundlessness. Emphasizing body integrity and personal dedication to ritual, the launch is framed around expressing high luxury through pure comfort, ease, and the daily motivation to self-preserve.
The extensive product range prioritizes pro-body, cutting-edge material innovations designed to be worn indoors and out, day and night. Key styles include mesh-membraned taffeta tracksuits and leather windbreaker sets that feature flat, edge-to-edge no-stitch seams achieved through ultrasonic-welded nylon tape. Water-repellent aqua-zip closures utilize a specialized reverse-knit process, while light-reflective high-vis motifs provide functional visibility. The comprehensive range also encompasses highly elastic, breathable, antibacterial, fast-drying, moisture-wicking, and UV-protective base layers, including cutout bodysuits, hooded cowls, fitted tops, bike shorts, hot pants, leggings and socks.
To celebrate the launch, Balenciaga has staged global activations that extend beyond fashion into wellness rituals. Pop‑ups in Paris, Beijing, Shanghai and Bangkok feature limited‑edition smoothies and juices, such as the collagen‑infused Main Character and the antioxidant‑rich Red Alert, alongside protein‑powered wellness bars. The brand also partners with Barry’s fitness studios in cities including Los Angeles, New York, London, Milan, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney, offering customized classes, curated playlists and Balenciaga‑branded smoothies at Barry’s Fuel Bar. The collection is available now in select stores worldwide and on Balenciaga's official webstore.
