We’ve been touting the Nike Pegasus Premium‘s lifestyle potential since day one, but even we’ve been caught off guard by some of the new directions the brand is exploring this summer. Hot on the heels of the $450 Nike Atelier Merc Premium comes an all-new style of equally intriguing variety, this one forgoing hardware tweaks in favor of a trending animal print.
Cow print shoes have been on the rise across the board, from loafers and derbies to farm-friendly takes on some of sneaker brands’ most popular models. The motif here lands on the synthetic upper panels and ZoomX midsole section, amplified by Sail pony hair on both the lateral and medial Swooshes. Light Orewood Brown covers the main mesh portion, joined by black hits on the tongue and interior and University Red within the full-length Zoom Air unit.
